GENEVA - Lucinda E. D'Amico, 55, of Geneva passed away on Monday (June 23, 2014) at home.
There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be held on Friday (June 27) with prayers at 12:30 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St., Geneva, and a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas P. Mull will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Cindy was born on August 7, 1958, in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Anthony and Rosalie Petix Piccariello. She graduated from Fairport High School in 1977, SUNY Brockport in 1982 with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and from Nazareth College in 1987 with a Master's Degree in Special Education. Cindy had previously worked at Allstate Insurance and Mobil Chemical and recently retired after 27 years teaching in the South Seneca School District.
Cindy was a loving wife and mother and her passion in life was teaching. She was a dedicated High School Sports Fan and enjoyed being in the Bocce League at the Sons of Italy for several years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Steven; son, Zachary D'Amico; daughter, Stephanie D'Amico; father, Anthony Piccariello; brothers, Louis (Judy) Piccariello and Harry Piccariello; mother-in-law, Patricia D'Amico; sister-in-law, Lynn D'Amico; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cindy was predeceased by her mother, Rosalie Piccariello; nephew, Anthony Piccariello; father-in-law, Joseph D'Amico.
