Janet Kerrick Norris

PENN YAN - Janet (Kerrick) Norris, 65, of the Penn Yan Homestead, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Geneva General Hospital April 18th after a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday (April 28) at the First Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either the First Presbyterian Church or to the Lutheran Church both of which Ron and Janet belonged to.
Janet was the daughter of James and Nellie Kerrick of Penn Yan. Born February 21st, 1947, she missed mom's birthday by two days. Janet enjoyed life to her fullest. She was a member of the Barrington Grange Hall for many years and had a great love for horses even though she couldn't ride. Janet worked on and off for Yates County ARC and was a member of the Handicap Club. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting and putting together puzzles. Her biggest and brightest day was the day she became Mrs. Ronald Norris, six years ago.
Janet will be sadly missed by her husband Ron Norris of Penn Yan; stepson Ron Norris Jr. of Penfield; stepdaughter Lisa (Gerald) Hess of Penfield; brother Victor (Ruth) Kerrick of Campbellville, Ky., nephews Chris (Lisa) Kerrick of Potter, and Sach (Cheryl) Kerrick of Penn Yan; nieces Dawn (Rich) Kerrick of Campbellville, Ky., Pattic Collazo of Penn Yan; several stepgrandchildren, great-nieces, and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and father James and Nellie Kerrick.
