Thomas A. Bolster Sept. 1, 1950 - April 25, 2012 Thomas A. Bolster, of Baker Drive, passed away on April 25, 2012, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was 61. Tom grew up in Yonkers, N.Y. and lived there until 1979 when he moved to Pawling, N.Y. and then later to Danbury, Conn. He proudly worked in finance at PepsiCo in Westchester, N.Y. for 35 years. Always a friend and mentor, his family and colleagues hold many fond memories. In 2009, he moved to Canandaigua to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his extended family - boating, camping, cookouts, sporting events, reading, games and more. Tom was truly one of a kind with his remarkable kindness, generosity, grace and patience. He made everyone feel welcome, loved and most special. He most certainly left an indelible impression on all who came into contact with him. Tom had a way with words like no other and his stories and entertaining commentaries will be greatly missed. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." He is survived by his sons, Damian Bolster (Stephanie) and Thomas Bolster (Jennifer); their mother, Antonia Bolster Shiffman; and grandchildren, Mason, Emilia, Marshall, Avery and Thomas. He was a brother to Ann Marie Mercurio, Barbara Sancho (Rich), Gary Bolster (Rosie), James Bolster (Lisa), John Bolster and Theresa Harsaghe (Dave). He was an uncle to Rachel, Adrienne, Loren, Gabriel, Damian, Rich, Greg, Alexis and Nicole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas F. and Ann Skipanski Bolster. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 183 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
