Robert John "Bob" Blake PITTSFORD - Robert John "Bob" Blake passed away on April 18, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ragnhild Blake. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Blake; children, Joseph (Janna) Blake, Deborah Blake, Robert John Blake Jr., Barbara (Bob) Notter, Pamela Broughton, Joanne (Michael) Scrivens, Thomas (Lauren) Blake and Wendy Kaltenbach; grandchildren, Joey and Laura Blake, Annabelle Blake, Emily (Mike) Vanim, Dr. Sarah Notter, Alexandra, Jacqueline and Michael Broughton, Andrei Scrivens, Christopher and Elizabeth Blake and Fritz and Jack Kaltenbach; great-grandson, Blake Vanim; and cousins, Virginia Ring and Joyce Ruygrok. Bob grew up in Larchmont, N.Y. He graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1947 and St. Bonaventure in 1951. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard from 1951 to 1954. He began his career in 1955 at IBM, from where he retired in 1987. Bob volunteered with the United Way and was a past president of Monroe Community Hospital Foundation. A funeral Mass was celebrated on April 23, at St. Louis Church in Pittsford. Interment was in White Haven Memorial Park.
