AUBURN | Mr. Mark A. Rogers, 60, of West Lake Road, Auburn, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at home following a long illness. Mark was born in Olean, the son of Albert E. and Anona Downey Rogers and was a graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Mo. He was an excellent cook and had worked for several restaurants over the years including Denny's in Auburn. Mark loved to play guitar and drums and was very active in Auburn Church of the Nazarene and its worship team. He is survived by his wife, Anna L. Rogers of, Auburn; four children, Tiffany Waller, of Auburn, Wayne Waller, of Canajoharie, Zachery Rogers, of Auburn, Kayla Rogers, of Auburn; a grandson, Johnny Sherman; two sisters and a brother, Susan R. Felton (Rodney), of Kirkville, Kevin D. Rogers, of Painted Post, Michele Leubner, of Syracuse; mother-in-law, Martha Dietrich, of Utica; many nieces and nephews Calling hours will be held from 4 to7 p.m. Friday, June 22, at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 3360 E. Genesee St. Road, Auburn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, in the church. Pastor Scott Buell will officiate. Interment will be in Soule Cemetery, Sennett.
