FARMINGTON - Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Goers, born on July 2, 1950, passed away on July 9, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Irene and Richard F. Goers Sr. of Farmington. She leaves behind the love of her life, James T. Dayton; her children, Jeannie (Thomas) Lay, James M. (Brianna) Dayton and Jessica (Jason) Clark; grandchildren, Kyle Lay, Jenna Lay, Devon Dayton, Caleb Dayton and Alexis Clark; siblings, Richard Goers Jr., Eileen Rogers, Robert (Diane) Goers and Helene (Brian) Raskind; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Lucey VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 W. Main St., Victor. A celebration of Betty's life will immediately follow the calling.
