KIDDERS/INTERLAKEN - Arline Wiggins Haviland, age 95, lifetime resident of the Interlaken and Kidders Landing, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday (July 25, 2012). Rest in the arms of the Beloved Father.

Arline was born on September 8, 1916 in the Village of Interlaken, a daughter of the late Gurnsey and Mildred Kathreen (Martin) Wiggins. Her childhood years were spent in Townsendville, and she was a graduate of Interlaken High School. She was employed at Seneca Army Depot during WWII, and then began a long career at Willard
Psychiatric Center as an LPN, retiring in 1972. Her early church life started with the First Baptist Church in Interlaken, and had then been a member of the Interlaken Reformed Church.
Arline lived for her family, and loved her home on the shore of Cayuga Lake in Kidders. She hosted big family events, picnics and meals, finding great joy in feeding everyone.

She is survived by her children, Ann Loree of Belona, N.Y., James (Judy) Haviland of Trumansburg, Virginia (Henry) Hickman of Fayetteville, Ark., and John (Mary) Haviland of Kidders; 12
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Arline was preceded in death by her husband James A. "Bunny" Haviland in 1996; and by her sisters, Janet Stickane, Jean Tunison and Winfred Royce; and by her son in law, John Loree.
