AUBURN | Lois E. Rosekrans, 86, of 13 Hoffman St., Auburn, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at her home. Born in the town of Butler, she was the daughter of the late Orson M. and Glennie Baldwin Harder. She was a 1944 graduate of Leavenworth High School in Wolcott. Lois was a former volunteer for the SCAT Van, RSVP and the Montessori School of Auburn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all. She is survived by four children, Lynda Troyan, Leonard (Barbara) Rosekrans, Lorna Moore, and Toby (Elizabeth) Rosekrans; 10 grandchildren, John (Deb) and Jennifer (Curtiss Stevens) Troyan, Christopher (Vicky) Rosekrans, Robert (Amrita) Carmer, and Heather (Junior) Burnham, Keith and Stacey Moore, Taylor D. (Elizabeth Bradtke) Rosekrans, Alexandra and David Rosekrans; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor E., Kailee, Mackenzie, CJ, Jacob, Kayla and Alyssa; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lynn Rosekrans in 2011; a daughter, Carole Schlafer; and by a son-in-law, John M. Troyan, Jr. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Langham Funeral Home, 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, followed by burial in Soule Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Montessori School of the Finger Lakes, Pine Ridge Road, Auburn, NY 13021.
