Waterloo - Carolyn "Sis" Ellison-Chilson-Morey, 75, passed away Tuesday (August 7, 2012) at her home with her family by her side.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday (August 10) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mull Funeral Home 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Sis's family request memorial contribution be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice, 1120 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513-9940.
She was born in Seneca Falls on March 23, 1937 the daughter of the late Walter J. and Lena Gurba Ellison Sr. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy and worked as a nurse at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center until her retirement.
Sis enjoyed crocheting and was a member of the "Powderly Road Craft Club".
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Anthony) Brown of Red Creek, Christine (Harry Potter) McLeod of Waterloo, Catherine (Randy) Ralston of Tenn., Patricia (Paul Shaffer) Fasciana of Waterloo and Pamela (Chuck Mullen) Chilson of N.C; step-daughter, Laurie (Paul) Ordiway of Gorham; a sister, Flossie Arndt of Waterloo; brothers, Ralph (Elaine) and Daniel (Patricia) Ellison both of Waterloo; several
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her Husbands, William Chilson and Adelbert "Del" Morey; a son Daniel William Chilson; sisters Marjorie Von Burgan and Anna May Millard; her brother Walter Ellison Jr..
