Francis C. Gersbach Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend CANANDAIGUA-Francis C. Gersbach, formerly of Shortsville, N.Y., passed away on October 20, 2012. Francis was born on October 10, 1939, the son of Paul and Margaret (Collins) Gersbach. He is survived by three sons, Daniel (Teresa) Gersbach, Gregory (Kelly) Gersbach and Justin (Vanessa) Gersbach; five grandchildren, Briann Gersbach, Allison Gersbach, Nicholas Gersbach, Alyssa Gersbach, and Kenneth Maxwell Gersbach; one great-grandchild, Jamie King; four sisters, Geraldine Narendorf, Marie (Mike) Joseph, Martha Gersbach and Bernadette (Roger) Chastian, several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ann Caprini, Chester and Bernice Caprini and Caryl Ann Gersbach, mother of Daniel, Gregory and Justin. He was predeceased by his brother, John Gersbach. Francis was employed by G.W. Lisk Co.,Inc. of Clifton Springs, N.Y., as their plant manager for over 43 years. He also served on several area board of directors including G.W. Lisk Co., Inc., Ontario National Bank, Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic, Ontario ARC, FLCC Foundation, Granger Homestead Society, Ontario County Historical Society and the United Way of Ontario County. Calling hours will be Friday October 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Sainsbury Funeral Home, 78 West Main Street, Shortsville, N.Y. A funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday October 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church, Shortsville, N.Y.. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Clifton Springs Hospital Foundation in his memory.
