SKANEATELES | Elinor Hunter Abrams, died Saturday, Nov. 10. Born in Auburn in 1921, she graduated from Auburn High School, Cortland State Teachers College and did graduate work at Syracuse University. She taught third Grade and kindergarten at Skaneateles Central School. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She served as Vestry person, on the Women's Board, taught Sunday school, was chair person of the Evangelism Committee and worked in the thrift shop. She was a member of the Skaneateles Country Club and the women's golf league and drove for “FISH.� She was predeceased by her husband Clifford in 2011. She is survived by two sons, Duane H. and Dale C. Abrams; a daughter Lynn Abrams; and three grandchildren. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in St. James Episcopal Church, Skaneateles.
