PORT BYRON | Della L. Rooker Jetty, 84, of Port Byron, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at the home of her daughter. Della was born in Port Byron, the daughter of Madison Eugene and Lina Farnham Rooker. She was employed by Dunn and McCarthy Co. of Auburn. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Sherley (Robert) Bracy, of Weesdport; a son, Chester Hoffman, of Hannibal; a brother, John Rooker, of Port Byron; grandchildren, Robert and Rebecca Thurston, of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Alexia, Gabrielle, Nathan, and Brieanna and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Lynn (Jack) Jetty on April 16, 2009. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at the Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron. Funeral services will follow at 4:15 p.m. from the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1150 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
