AUBURN | Mrs. Hildreth Babiarz, formerly of Stryker Homes, Auburn, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Finger Lakes Center for Living. Mrs. Babiarz was born in Albany, the daughter of James and Olivia Shields Delaney. As a longtime resident of Auburn and Stryker Homes she enjoyed spending her time socializing with her many friends and neighbors at Wegmans. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Babiarz in 1992. She survived by her son, James and Lori Babiarz, of Auburn; a sister, Alice Chichester, of Booth Bay, Maine; nieces and nephews, Mary Pat DiMascio of Booth Bay, Maine, Tom Paczkowski, of Auburn, Frank Packowski, of Rochester, Walter Packowski, of Florida, Suzy VanFleet, of Colorado, Duane Mach, of Auburn, Jackie Steigerwald, of Auburn, James Mach, of Auburn, Mary Bauso, of Auburn, Paula Kukiela, of Florida, Audrey Hanlon, of Camillus, Donna Vatter, of Auburn; two sisters-in-law, Lottie Mach, of Auburn, Helen Kukiela (Leo), of Florida; brother-in-law, Walter Packowski, of Auburn. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Stella Paczkowski; and two brothers-in-law, James Mach and Harmon Chichester. Memorial visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Food Pantry, CNY, 90 Franklin St., Auburn, NY 13021, in memory of Mrs. Babiarz.
