CATO | Logan Garcia Stockmyer, 17, of Ira Hill Road, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, surrounded by her family at Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse after a 14-year battle with cystic fibrosis. Logan was born Feb. 3, 1995 in Port Charlotte, Fla. and moved to this area recently with her mom, sister and grandmother. Logan was noted for her keen artistic ability and her strength in dealing with her illness. Predeceased by her grandfather Richard Stockmyer in 2012, she is survived by her mother, Jackie Stockmyer, sister, Jade, grandmother, Donna Stockmyer and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and admirers. She was a joy and light to all who knew her. Family and friends may attend a celebration of her life from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at Logan's home, 3064 Ira Hill Road, Cato. Burial will be in the Stockmyer family plot in Scipio Center at a later time and date. Arrangements are entrusted to Keysor Funeral Service, Cato.
