PALMYRA/NEWARK – Eleanor Case, 90, died Sunday (December 2, 2012) at the DeMay Living Center.
Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday (December 4) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday (December 5) at the funeral home with Rev. Dan Benedict officiating. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Case was born July 28, 1922 in Newark the daughter of George and Lillian McDonald Provo. She had worked in the packing department of C.H. Stuart Nursery for over 25 years.
She is survived by three sons, Robert (Sharon) of Keuka Park, James of Newark, George (Ann) of Palmyra; three daughters, Patricia (Kenneth) VanNorman of Sodus, Sandra VanHaneghan of Palmyra, Linda (Timothy) Bevis, of Clifton Park; nineteen grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Robert in 2006; a son, William; two grandchildren; four siblings, Edith Sinack, Winifred Reeves, Robert and Carl Provo.
