Norman G. Mibaum Norman G. Mibaum, 83, of Prattsburgh, formerly of Ionia, passed away at his home on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Norman was born in Rochester on Aug. 29, 1929, to the late Norman and Ruth Young Mibaum. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janice Schlenker Mibaum; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Randy O'Brien of Ionia; grandson, Jeffrey O'Brien of Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughter, Meredith O'Brien Green and husband Roy Green of Webster; and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Kahlan Green. Norman retired, after 27 years, from Stever-Locke in Honeoye Falls and operated a Christmas tree farm in Prattsburgh for many years. He was a charter member of Ionia Volunteer Fire Company, where he held many offices including chief. Norman was a master carpenter and outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Thursday, December 6, at 11 a.m. at Ionia United Methodist Church.
