Michael T. O'Connor, 59, of Sherwood Road, Scipio Center, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Auburn Community Hospital. Mike was born in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. on Feb. 28, 1953. He was the son of the late John F. O'Connor and Madeline Sandy O'Connor, of Columbus, Ohio. He was a local contractor, owning and operating Mike O'Connor Building Management. In addition to his own business, he was employed as a code enforcement officer with both the town of Scipio and town of Locke. Known as a â€œJack of all Trades,â€? he loved his pets and enjoyed time spent working around his home. In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his loving wife, Vikki Gibbs O'Connor, with whom he celebrated 31 years of marriage in October of this year; three sons, Ryan O'Connor, of New York City, Corey and Colin O'Connor, both of Scipio Center; five sisters, Nancy (Lee) Ryerson, of Scipio, Pamela (Steve) Hogan, of Michigan, Brian O'Connor, of Ohio, Madeline (Michael) Brown, of Indiana, and Heather (Brett) Speakes of Ohio; two brothers, Joseph (Jane) O'Connor, of Michigan and Matthew O'Connor, of Ohio and many nieces and nephews. In addition to being predeceased by his father, Mike was predeceased by a brother, John F. O'Connor Jr. A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn. Contributions in memory of Michael T.
