AUBURN | Anna Cozza, 91, of Auburn and Philadelphia, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2013, at Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia and resided there for most of her life, until more recently moving to Auburn, to be with her sister, Concetta “Jenny� Cozza. “Annie,� as she was affectionately known by her family and friends will always be remembered best for her sweet, quiet and childlike spirit. Annie was a sweetheart, while her stay on the sixth floor at Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center and truly blossomed under their loving care and compassion. She is survived by her sister, Concetta “Jenny� Cozza; nieces, Barbara (Skip) Dane, Linda (Bernie Baker) Ray and Angela Lofty; nephews, Glenn Combs (and family), Edward Ray, Kenneth Ray and Gregory (Kathleen) Ray; great-niece, Zoe Dane and great-nephews, Mark and Andy Dane. A calling hour will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, with services to immediately follow at Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Philadelphia at the convenience of the family.
