CAYUGA | Mr. John T. Curtis, 64, of 6595 State Route 90 North, Cayuga, died on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Curtis was born in Syracuse, the son of Robert and Margaret Niebieski Curtis. He was a graduate of Union Springs High School and had retired from McQuay International in Auburn after 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia L. (Rawson) Curtis; three children, Mellissa Quick and her husband, Kyle, of Auburn, Rebecca Curtis, of Cato and John R. Curtis, of Hornell; five grandchildren, Alicia Curtis, Conner Loveless, Cody Loveless, Ashley Quick and Austin Quick and great-grandson, Jayden Curtis. Mr. Curtis along with his parents was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Robert Curtis. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in Auburn United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richelle Goff, Pastor of Auburn United Methodist Church will officiate. There will be a reception following the service in the fellowship hall.
