AUBURN | Katherine Falcicchio, 82, formerly of Venice Street, Auburn, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, in a local nursing home. Miss Falcicchio was born in Auburn, the daughter of Frank and Julia Covella Falcicchio and remained in Auburn throughout her life. She was a retired employee of Dunn and McCarthy where she had 43 years of service. Katherine is survived by her loving sister, Mary Netti, and brother Nicholas Falcicchio, both of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Katherine was predeceased by her parents; brother, Thomas and his wife, Mary; sisters, Rose Netti and her husband, Dan, along with Christine DeVoe and her husband, Oscar. Also predeceasing Miss Falcicchio were her nephew and caregiver, Richard Netti, and brother-in-law John Netti. In accordance to Katherine's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions in memory of Miss Falcicchio may be made to the Matthew House, 42 Metcalf Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
