WATERLOO - Karen Ann Bourne, 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday (February 2, 2013), at Geneva General Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tues. (Feb. 5), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wed. (Feb. 6), in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Karen was born on Feb. 17, 1954 in Geneva and was a daughter of Florence Arnold Bourne and the late James C. Bourne, Sr. She retired from Mobil Chemical in Macedon, after 35 years of service. Karen loved the company of her family and enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Montana and Daisy. She was a loving grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
She is survived by her son, David (Susan) Bourne of Geneva; mother, Florence Arnold Bourne of Waterloo; brother, James C. (Cindy) Bourne, Jr. of Waterloo; sisters, Kathy Bourne and Katie Bourne, both of Waterloo; grandchildren, Danielle and Zahra Bourne and Julie Uerkvitz; nieces and nephews, Nick, Josh, Vicki and Ashley Bourne; great-nieces and nephews, Aydan, Esabella, Giovanni, JaeCia and Gabriella; and several cousins.
Karen was predeceased by her son, Daniel M. Bourne; father, James C. Bourne, Sr.; niece, Jackie Bourne; and nephew, James C. Bourne III.
