WEEDSPORT | Beverly Scarbrough, 71, of Weedsport, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at University Hospital, Syracuse. The daughter of Carl and Virginia Ruetsch Weber, Beverly was born May 24, 1941 in Auburn. For more than 20 years, she was employed with Meadowbrook Golf Course. She had also previously owned and operated the former Canal Country Store. Beverly is survived by her four sons, Robert (Sue) Scarbrough, of Weedsport, William (Karen) Scarbrough, of Auburn, Jeffrey Scarbrough, of Pennsylvania, and Daniel (Cynthia) Scarbrough, of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, James and Kathryn, of Weedsport, Brian and Steven, of Auburn, Jessica and Melissa, of Connecticut, Colby, of Massachusetts, and Nathan and Abigail, of North Carolina; a brother, Carl (Kristy) Weber, of Moravia, and a sister, Virginia (David) Zoll, of Penneville. Mrs. Scarbrough was predeceased by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Scarbrough, in February 1963. Funeral services will be held privately for the family in White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
