It's hoped they can be a adopted together.  You can adopt these beautiful girls By Getting in Touch with the Beverley Animal Shelter.





“Ekkles” the Beautiful and playful Tiger kitten has been adopted!  Here she is exploring the WNYR studio!



Howie! Howie was in tough shape when he came to the shelter, and unfortunately lost a front leg. That doesn't stop him from getting around. He is a very loving and affectionate cat, available for adoption At Beverley Animal Shelter in Waterloo.

St. Pats in Seneca Falls and St. Mary's in Waterloo are holding their 22nd annual summer drive for the poor in Nicaragua. Farmers in Nicaragua need your old rotor tiller and other garden tools you may no longer use. 98-5 WNYR is looking for its next morning cohost. You think you have what it takes to wake up the finger lakes weekday mornings?

Here is what we're looking for:

Morning show cohost/assistant producer

Fingerlakes Radio Group is a small market cluster staffed by a group of passionate  professionals who believe in having fun, and being local.   Ours is a family atmosphere, and we're looking to add to our family.

An opening is immediately available for a morning Cohost and assistant producer on our adult contemporary morning show.  The position is currently part-time, 15 hours/wk (6-9am M-F) with the intent of it becoming full-time.   This is a great opportunity for those looking to break into or get back into broadcasting. 

The ideal applicant would be familiar with the lifestyle and pop culture topics of our core AC demographic, be proficient at using social media, have a great attitude and sense of humor. 

Eventual duties would include working with the program director/cohost to develop localized content for the show, engaging in long range planning, putting updates on our company web site,  being available for appearances and remotes, and  assisting the company promotions director.    Also needed, the ability to use Photoshop, video and audio editing software, and  to operate radio station equipment.
