DISPLAY GUIDELINES AND REGULATIONS:
Thank you for choosing to present a display at the FIDELIS CARE FINGER LAKES SPEEDWORLD event. We’re glad you chose to participate and hope you have a fantastic experience!
The following are important DISPLAY GUIDELINES AND REGULATIONS that MUST be followed.
GENERAL DISPLAY RULES
You and anyone associated/present with your display/team/vehicle must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times during move-in, show hours, and move-out. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the mall, and there is no smoking in the mall or its restrooms. Failure to comply with mall regulations, or reports of unacceptable behavior from you or anyone associated/present with your display/team/vehicle will be met with immediate removal from the property until the show closes, and in the severest cases may include prosecution for any damages caused to the mall, its property, or the property of others.
Your displays must not block any mall aisle ways (for fire regulations). You may not block access to any store entrances/store signs with your display. ALL displays have a MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF 6 feet from the floor to the top of the display, including signs, banners, and balloon structures. Displays may require adjustments at the request of show or mall management; failure to comply will result in the removal of your display with no refund of entry fees.
Displays must be free of any offensive language/images. Show and mall management reserves to right to have any items that, in their judgment, are offensive removed from the display.
Availability of electricity is EXTREMELY limited. Requests for electricity will be honored on a first come, first served basis.
Displays must be loaded into the mall during the designated MOVE IN TIME and are NOT allowed to be moved UNTIL THE MALL OFFICALLY CLOSES ON MARCH 24TH AT 6:00 P.M. unless you are directed otherwise by show or mall management.
You are welcome to bring chairs to sit on, but they must be steel/plastic folding chairs…no camping/lawn chairs are allowed. Tables will be provided on a first come, first served basis, and must be requested on your entry form. You are welcome to bring your own 6 foot or 8 foot tables if you wish.
No EZ UP Tents are allowed in any display.
ONLY vendors with valid NYS Tax ID numbers are allowed to sell items/products in the show. This information must be available to be presented upon request. Non-profit groups must have copy of their NYS information
We cannot allow any types of cash/prize/50-50 raffles during the show that involve the sale of tickets, however, prize drawings for FREE prizes that you wish to provide are welcomed and encouraged. We also encourage handing out business cards, photos, ‘hero cards’, candy, schedule cards, brochures, etc. to promote your business.
VEHICLE DISPLAYS
Any race vehicle being displayed MUST be drained of fuel (fire regulations).
Vehicles must have a drip pan underneath them in case of possible fluid leaks. You will be held financially responsible for any cleaning/repairs needed as a result of damage to the mall floor/carpet due to a fluid leak, and you will be asked to remove your vehicle from the mall with no refund of entry fees.
We strongly recommend using carpet squares or NEATLY cut cardboard under your vehicle tires to minimize any tread marks on the mall floor/carpet once your vehicle is in position.
ABSOLUTELY NO ‘ARMOR ALL’ or any type of ‘TIRE/BODY SHINE/WAX’ is allowed to be applied to a vehicle once it is on display! We cannot run the risk of having spectators slip/fall on residue from these items.
You are more than welcome to dress up your vehicle display with decorations, but please keep any decorations to a MAXIMUM of 1 foot beyond your vehicle on ANY side and ALL displays have a MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF 6 feet, including signs, banners, and balloon structures.
Vehicles must be loaded into the mall during the designated MOVE IN TIME and are NOT allowed to be moved UNTIL THE MALL OFFICALLY CLOSES ON MARCH 24TH AT 6:00 P.M. unless you are directed otherwise by show or mall management.
You are welcome to bring chairs to sit on by your vehicle, but they must be steel/plastic folding chairs…no camping/lawn chairs are allowed.
We cannot allow any types of cash/prize/50-50 raffles during the show that involve the sale of tickets, however, prize drawings for FREE prizes that you wish to provide are welcomed and encouraged.
AT NO TIME ARE ANY DISPLAY VEHICLES ALLOWED TO BE DRIVEN INSIDE THE MALL, INCLUDING MOVE-IN AND MOVE-OUT…ALL RACE VEHICLES FOR DISPLAY MUST BE PUSHED IN AND OUT OF THE MALL! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
MOVE-IN AND MOVE-OUT INFORMATION
We will provide a ‘clean staging’ area inside the mall doors. At this ‘clean staging’ area, we will require that you clean off your tires (or wrap them in plastic wrap) before moving your vehicles further into the mall (much of the mall’s area is carpeted, this will minimize any possible problems from dirty car/truck/motorcycle/ATV/snowmobile tires/tracks). Please bring cleaning materials (rags etc.) with you for this purpose, they will NOT be provided on site.
