In women's lacrosse yesterday, William Smith bested RPI, 13-3; and Lancaster Bible beat Keuka, 17-13. Coming up today, the Herons host Skidmore at 3 in a rematch of last year's Liberty League title game, and Wells heads to Lancaster Bible.

On the men's side, Hobart will take on Bryant in a key NEC showdown at noon at Boswell Field, while Wells heads to Bryn Athyn.

IN local girls lacrosse, Canandaigua will host Guilderland of Section 2 at 11 on WCGR 104.5.

In college softball, Wells split with Cazenovia, taking the 1st, 9-8, before falling, 7-3; FLCC lost a twin bill with Columbia-Greene, 4-2 and 9-6; and Keuka swept Morrisville State, 6-1 and 11-6. Keuka plays two with Cazenovia; Wells set for a doubleheader with Morrisville State, and FLCC will play Cayuga Community College.

Meanwhile, in college baseball today, Keuka has a morning doubleheader with Houghton, and FLCC is at Niagara County CC.

In INternational League baseball, Syracuse spoiled Rochester's home opener with a 3-2 win. Same two back at at Frontier Field at 1:35 this afternoon.

IN the AHL, Rochester took out Albany, 5-4; while Syracuse knocked off Binghamton, 4-1. The Amerks head ot Albany tonight, while the Crunch host Albany.
