In girls high school lacrosse, in a game you heard on 104.5 WCGR, Canandaigua dropped a heartbreaker to Guilderland of Section 2, 11-10. And on the boys' side, Penn Yan fell to Lakeland/Panas of Section 1, 12-4.

IN high school baseball, Geneva smashed South Seneca, 10-1; and Lyons over Red Creek, 4-2. Moving to softball, Bloomfled takes two from Naples, 21-6 and 24-10.

IN mens college lacrosse, Hobart dominated Bryant at the Boz, 13-6; Bryn Athyn clobbered Keuka, 16-2; and Genesee CC gashed FLCC, 21-4.

In womens' action, William Smith trumped Skidmore, 8-3, while Wells nipped by Lancaster Bible, 14-13.

IN college baseball, Keuka split with Houghton, taking the 1st, 9-6, before dropping the capper, 13-2; while in softball, Keuka split with Cazenovia, with a 2-0 shutout in the 1st game and a 6-2 loss in the 2nd; and Wells also a split, this one with Morrisville State, a 1-0 win followed with a 6-4 defeat in Game 2.

In the AHL, Rochester ended their season with a 4-0 shutout to Albany, while Syracuse won the North Division with a 5-2 win over Utica.
