In boys lacrosse, Victor fell to Jamesville-DeWitt, 9-8; HF-L nipped Hilton, 14-13; Midlakes edged Mynderse, 14-12; Bloomfield-Honeoye downed Marcus Whitman, 12-9; Gananda bested Newark, 12-9; Geneva easily over Waterloo, 9-1; and Wayne eked by Pal-Mac, 7-6.

On the girls side, Penn Yan upended Churchville-Chili, 12-9; and Waterloo tripped up Marcus Whitman, 11-8.

In high school baseball, Canandaigua blanked Churchville-Chili, 8-0; HF-L topped Eastridge, 5-3; Waterloo got by South Seneca, 5-3; Clyde-Savannah no problem with North Rose-Wolcott, 8-2; Sodus stopped Lyons, 3-1; Victor whitewashed Bloomfield, 8-0; Newark dropped Dansville, 9-7; and Webster Thomas pounded Pal-Mac, 14-4.

In softball, Port Byron got by Tully, 7-6; Bishop Kearney took the Strikeout Cancer tourney over Waterloo, 5-1; they also romped over Romulus, 13-0; Geneva mauled Midlakes, 11-2; and North Rose-Wolcott over CLyde-Savannah in 9 innings, 17-16.

In college lacrosse, William Smith will host Westfield State in the 2nd round of the NCAA Division 3 womens' lacrosse tournament at 4 o'clock at Boswell Field.
