Auburn Native Called Back Up to Chicago Blackhawks

CHICAGO -- Auburn native Jeremy Morin is back in the majors, but whether he gets any playing time during the playoffs is an open question.

Morin has been called back up to the Chicago Blackhawks, of the National Hockey League. A forward, the 20-year-old Morin played two games for the Blackhawks this season; he spent most of his time with the Rockford Icehogs of the AHL, the same league the Syracuse Crunch play in. The Icehogs did not make the AHL playoffs, although they came close.

The Blackhawks, however, are trailing to the Phoenix Coyotes, 2-1, in the opening round of the NHL playoffs; Game 4 is set for tonight, in Chicago.
