GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- Auburn native David May continues to do well on the eGolf Tour.
Four weeks ago, May won the Irish Creek Classic, and he was in good shape to get his second eGolf Tour victory this weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina; the eGolf Tour is centered in the Carolinas and Virgina.
This past weekend, at Forest Oaks Country Club -- which from 1977 to 2007 was the host of the Wyndham Championship, the former Greater Greensboro Open -- May shot a second round 64 to open a two-shot lead entering the final round, but he shot a final round 73 to finish in a tie for seventh, three strokes behind the winner.

The Forest Oaks Classic was the seventh of 24 scheduled events on the 2012 eGolf Tour schedule; May is now the second-leading money winner on that tour, with about $40,000. Kevin Ryan is first with $43,000.
On Day Two of the Forest Oaks Classic, May hit 17 greens in regulation, and he said some advice from his father, Kris May of Auburn, helped him get back on track
