Canandaigua native Ryan Lochte beat Micheal Phelps to win the 400 meter individual medley at the US Olympic Trials last night. Lochte claims the first spot on the US team for the London Olympics. In the 2008 games, he won five gold medals and both his head to head races with Phelps.
