Jim Boeheim surpassed Bobby Knight for sole possession of second place on the Division I all-time wins list with 903 victories after the  Orange  beat Rutgers 78-53 in the Carrier Dome.

Senior Brandon Triche had a season-high 25 points, shooting 8-of-11 from the field and 5-of-7 from three-point range . Sophomore Michael Carter-Williams notched his eighth double-double of the season, totaling 12 points and 10 assists.
