Nominations are now open for the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce’s annual chamber awards.
The chamber announced nominations are open for the 2026 awards, with seven awards up for grabs this year.
The Terri Bridenbecker Young Professional Award (Member or Non-Member) recognizes an individual under 40 pursuing excellence in their career.
The Business Leader Award (Chamber Member) recognizes a business that invests in the county and takes an active role in the community.
There are two Small Business of the Year Awards (Chamber Member). The first is for businesses that have been in business for less than five years, recognizing their entrepreneurship, while the second recognizes established businesses that demonstrate “the ability to overcome adversities in the ever-changing business environment and staying power with a commitment to community involvement.”
The Non-Profit Organization (Chamber Member) Award goes to a nonprofit that helps enhance the quality of life in the county or contributes to its economic base.
The Phyllis Goldman Encouragement Award for Women (Member or Non-Member) recognizes women who are committed to the community, have demonstrated professional pursuits, and serve as role models for women and girls.
The Community Leadership Award (Leadership Cayuga Alumni) goes to a Leadership Cayuga alumnus.
Winners will receive their awards at the annual Chamber Awards Luncheon on May 6 at the Springside Inn.
