
George Clary, 91, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, December 5, 2025, at Geneva General Hospital.
Calling hours, funeral service, and burial will be held in the spring at a time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Street, Waterloo, NY 13165, a cause close to George's heart.
George was born on May 3, 1934 in Rochester, the son of the late Marianne (Akey) Clary and George H. Clary. He dedicated more than 46 years of service to Evans Chematics in Waterloo. Known for his friendly spirit, George enjoyed playing the lottery and could often be seen visiting with neighbors and family while riding in his electric cart.
He is survived by his nephews, David and Mark; niece Holly; granddaughters Valerie and Stephanie; sister-in-law Marlene Amato; brother-in-law Bob Gloner; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends Greg Miner, Sam Mullen, and Jeff and Denise Skertic.
George was predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years, Claire, their son Stephen, and brother Robert (Pat) Clary.
